Carson Kressley is in Rose Bowl Parade

This will be the second time Carson Kressley is in Rose Bowl Parade! Have you ever noticed the beautiful spotted American Saddlebreds that appear in the Rose Bowl Parade every year? They belong to Michele Macfarlane of Scripps Miramar Saddlebreds, San Diego, CA. Aboard CH Flurry, Carson will ride along the 5 1/2 mile route down Colorado Boulevard. Michele Macfarlane owns the champion Saddlebred.

Michele will be driving Saddlebreds hitched to an Abbott And Downey Yellowstone park passenger wagon from the late 1800s as a tribute to the National Park system and finding ones adventure in the parks of the American West. The theme of this year’s parade is ‘Find Your Adventure.’

Carson has been riding Saddlebreds for more than 30 years. He loves the breed for its beauty, heart, and intelligence. Riding in the Rose Bowl Parade showcases these majestic Saddlebreds to a large number of spectators along the parade route, and an even larger live television viewing audience. The parade will be seen by an estimated 43 million U.S. households, and another 28 million abroad.
